I wanted to start off by introducing myself, but if you read my profile you’ll see I’m not one for talking about myself – I’m one of the few that does not have a photo of myself on my business card. After all it’s not about ME! It’s about YOU and what you want!

But as an introduction, I will mention briefly my interests related to real estate, as this is what I will want to talk about over the coming days/months…

I have a special interest in the luxury end of the second home market, specifically resort style homes (and especially those on the water). I was spoilt as a child and had a taste of resort style living [a “spoilt brat”, who likes to think he is polite and courteous!]

The (sinking?) vacation home market of Central Florida and how we as responsible Realtors can help owners/potential owners to benefit from this market!

The past booming real estate market, and how realtors are in someway responsible for the current state of the real estate market!

The Real Estate business model, traditional high commission model versus the ever growing need for fee-for-service model (not to be confused with ‘discount’ brokerage).

And finally I am interested in anything slightly (!) controversial …
